| BENEFITS OF MAMF MEMBERSHIP: Membership Meetings Evening dinner meetings with programs devoted to timely management and industry subjects. Meeting with industry colleagues and discussing mutual problems makes our members more profitable. Newsletter/Email Updates The Newsletter and Email Updates provide educational articles and reports on association activates and keep our members posted on industry news in a timely manner. Liaison with Regulatory Agencies MAMF has established and maintain an excellent rapport with city, country and state agencies in the area of water and air pollution, solid waste management and OSHA requirements. NASF Delegate Representation The MAMF currently holds a legacy seat on the NASF Board. This seat not being an elected position has all the voting rights but none of the political ramifications that come with an elected delegate. As a MAMF member you have direct access to our current representative, Paul Brancato, who is a centralized source of information concerning the NASF and our industry who also is delivering the MAMF member concerns directly to the NASF Board. National Affiliation The National Government Relations program includes legislative, advocacy and liaisons with regulatory agencies. The NASF and its staff provide seminars, conferences (Washington Forum), trade shows (SUR/FIN), and national updates including Quarterly Business Barometers and Washington Reports. Social Events Special cultural and sporting events are offered for the enjoyment of members, families and guests. Administrative Office MAMF maintains an Executive Director experienced in administering the affairs of the Association and our active committees including clarifying regulatory requirements and by identifying solutions to business challenges State Workers Compensation This plan benefits members in two ways, first it offers the potential for dividends each year plus advance discounts and second it provides professional administration and loss control. At present this is only available in New York. Environmental Fund Fund set aside for the purpose of mounting legal challenges, in the event the Government Relations Program is not successful, to combat regulatory and policy changes that would adversely affect our membership and the industry as a whole. Safety Training Programs Annual training programs like “Train the Trainer” RCRA training, Forklift training, CPR recertification and many other safety training programs are conducted in conjunction with FDNY, EPA, OSHA, and other industry experts with discounted rates for members. Directory and Facilities Guide A proven tool which directs potential customers to our members based on processes and other pertinent data. Key staff names are listed with vital information for each company member. Potential customers are referred to member companies via both the Directory as well as referrals from MAMF headquarters and website. |

| Mission Statement The Master's Association of Metal Finishers (MAMF) works to educate, foster leadership, and promote the general welfare of the metal finishing industry. As an organization, the MAMF supports local and federal regulations governing environmental and worker protection policies for the benefit of both industry and the community at large. As an affiliate of the National Association of Surface Finishers (NASF), the MAMF operates to provide a local voice on issues impacting the Metal Finishing industry at large while establishing the needs of its constituents. Achieving our members' requirements and expectations on education, information and advocacy defines our purpose and continued importance for metal finishing. |
